Discovering bands like Korn and Slipknot as well as producing seminal albums for bands including Sepultura, his place in the pantheon of metal is unquestioned. XLN Audio was extremely honored to have Robinson produce this kit.

This is not your usual drum kit. It includes specially selected Ludwig, Gretsch, Zildjian and Sabian pieces to deliver the perfect metal sound. XLN Audio also included special "trig" sounds for the kick and the snare. These sounds can be played in conjunction with the kick and snare drums to give even more edge and attack in your mix. This is a popular technique used by metal producers, and you can hear it in your tracks, too.

This kit includes 31 presets made by professional metal producers including Roberto Laghi and Björn Gelotte (In Flames), David E.K. (Fuge), Martin Preikschas and many others. These presets provide instant access to a variety of different metal sub-genres (heavy metal, death metal, speed metal and others) and can be used as-is or easily tweaked to achieve a unique sound that's exactly right for your music.

Specifications:

System:

PC: Windows 7 or Windows 8 (32/64 bit)

Mac: OS X 10.7, 10.8, 10.9 (32/64 bit)

2 GB RAM - 4GB or more recommended

Approximately 700 MB of free disk space

High-speed Internet connection (during installation only)

Supported Formats:

VST (32 and 64 bit)

AU (32 and 64 bit)

AAX (32 and 64 bit)

Standalone (Windows and OS X)

XLN Audio actively tests Addictive Drums 2 on the following:

SONAR X2, X3

Pro Tools 10, 11

Cubase 5, 6, 7

Live 8, 9

Logic Pro 8, 9, X

Important note about the Addictive Drums 2 engine:

The Addictive Drums 2 engine is included with every Addictive Drums 2 ADpak and Bundle. This product does not require any other software to work and can be used by itself (in Standalone mode) or as a plugin within host music software.

For new users, this product is an entry-point into the world of Addictive Drums 2. For existing Addictive Drums 2 users, this product is an expansion to your collection of extraordinary drum sounds.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/xln_metal_box_4476b27e-22c7-4c7a-a396-9c9835b7271f.jpg?v=1787088868
