Product Description
The phantom powered version of the original U47 was released in 1969 known as the U47 FET. The circuit was quite desirable, using transistors creating a very robust sound. The FET mic has since obtained a legendary status being the most preferred mic in obtaining larger-than-life kick and bass tracks as well as thick and full vocals. The U47 FET is now becoming as sought after as the U47. The Wunder Audio CM7 is a recreation of the U47 FET with a with K47 dual-membrane capsule.
