No outboard interface boxes are required. The RS-232 protocol and non-volatile EEPROM are new and more efficient. Transfers between the PC and ParaMedics as well as memory I\/O are 50% faster. A convenient data connector is placed on the front panel and paralleled to the rear panel. They can be operated unbalanced without a change in gain. All outputs are equipped with precision machine-wound inductors in an L-C circuit to absorb digital noise. Analog input and digital output levels can be individually adjusted in 0.5dB steps. The inputs can be linked together and selected outputs can be grouped. Linked or grouped levels are adjusted together and any offsets are maintained. The standard P\u003cspan style=\"FONT-SIZE: x-small\"\u003eARA\u003c\/span\u003eM\u003cspan style=\"FONT-SIZE: x-small\"\u003eEDICs 22,\u003c\/span\u003e24 and 26 are equipped with detachable Phoenix type audio connectors. XLR equipped models are available at no additional cost. The 4 or 6 output levels can be assigned in up to three groups with a Master Level to control all.
