Like the INT203, it handles all standard sampling frequencies between 44.1 and 192 kHz.

The INT202 is a stereo Firewire to AES/EBU (unidirectional) interface. With the use of the included infrared remote control you can adjust the volume and polarity. This converter supports dual wire data transfer in 176.4/192 kHz mode for older D/A converters. The bit transparency of the player software on the computer can be checked with the INT202.

In the box: Weiss INT202 converter, infared remote control, power supply

Specifications:

Power: Either from Firewire bus power or from an external power supply at 8-12 V

Dimensions (DxWxH): 10.5cm x 10.5cm x 4.4cm (4.7cm high with feet)

Remote Dimensions: 2.1cm x 4.5cm x 16.6cm

Digital Inputs: (2) Firewire 400 connectors

Digital Outputs:

(2) RCA connectors

(2) XLR connectors

Word-length up to 24 Bits

Synchronization:

Sampling frequency is generated internally

Supported sampling frequencies: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz

DSP algorithms:

Volume control

Absolute polarity control

Bit transparency checking

Word on the Street:

“It’s easy to install, easy to use and very easy to like.
