Product Description

The Waves DiGiGrid MGB + Extreme Server System is the powerful solution for processing, recording and virtual sound checking with any coaxial MADI-enabled live mixing console. Includes a SoundGrid Extreme server, a DiGiGrid MGB coaxial MADI-to-SoundGrid interface, a network switch, Cat 6 network cables, the MultiRack SoundGrid plug-in host for running plug-ins on your console, and 5 essential audio plug-ins for live mixing.

DiGiGrid MGB

The DiGiGrid MGB interface allows you to connect any Coaxial MADI-enabled device to the SoundGrid network. Now, you can record, process and playback up to 128 channels with Waves and third-party SoundGrid-compatible plug-ins in high-fidelity at a super-low latency of 0.8 milliseconds! In addition to simplifying your routing, the MGB interface enables recording to two computers simultaneously, for virtual soundcheck and backup.

SoundGrid Extreme Server

This super-powerful Intel i7-based DSP unit will handle your heaviest mixing sessions, processing up to hundreds of plug-ins in real time and ultra-low latency.

Used on major tours and in pro studios, the SoundGrid Extreme server will let you run as many Waves and other SoundGrid-compatible plug-ins as you want, on as many channels as you’ve got, and give your live shows studio-grade sound. For example, you can throw plug-ins modeled on the world’s top consoles on each and every channel, and basically make your mixer sound like a classic top-tier desk.

SoundGrid Extreme delivers over 40% more power than SoundGrid Server One – just try these numbers on for size: over 500 instances of the Waves SSL E-Channel, CLA-2A or C6 Multiband Compressor plug-ins, with latency as low as 0.8 milliseconds!

Housed in a rugged rack-mounted 2U chassis, the Extreme server is a massive upgrade to any studio or live mixing system, unleashing your creative mixing powers session after session, night after night.
