Huge-sounding tube saturation which makes any vocal or instrument jump out of the speakers. From delicate to aggressive analog brilliance, Waves BB Tubes makes your mixes sound expensive and brings your music to life. You’ve probably heard the sound of tube saturation before. Sure, a little drive from an analog-modeled plug-in can go far in making instruments and vocals sound full and cut through the mix.

This does not explain the magic of BB Tubes. The sound of this original-design plug-in from Waves' Magma series quite simply must be heard to be believed. Just see what these mixers said about it:

"When I first tried BB Tubes I was shocked. I’ve been putting it first in my vocal chain – it just gives me this larger vocal that’s also more intimate." – Rob Kinelski (Billie Eilish)

"Honestly, I’ve never heard anything like this. It brings something different to the table which I can’t even explain. It sounds amazing." – Neal H Pogue (Steve Lacy, Tyler, the Creator)

"It’s rare that a new plug-in comes along and is an instant game changer. Without much effort I had a vocal sounding incredible. Then drums, then synths, then guitars, then bass. I truly feel like this plug-in will become a classic." – Dave Pensado (Justin Bieber)

"BB Tubes excites the speakers unlike anything I’ve tried before. I knew immediately it was helping my work sound better." – Tony Maserati(Beyoncé)

A LEGENDARY SONIC PERSONALITY

BEAUTY is perfect for delicate harmonic saturation, where you just want to make a sound blossom before it breaks up. You’ll hear an instant roundness, fatness and glow with this knob, and an unmistakably huge low-mid.

BEAST gives you that immediate in-your-face energy, attitude and aggression, all the way to crunch distortion. Even when fully broken up, the sound feels tight and controlled, without collapsing into muddiness. There’s also an A/B switch to select between two different tube types. For best results, BLEND the two knobs! BEAUTY cascades into BEAST, so tune and tweak them for an enormous range of saturation sounds for any part, style or genre.

A WARNING: THIS PLUG-IN IS ADDICTIVE

Once you start using BB Tubes on your drums, vocals, guitars, bass, synths, mix bus and absolutely everything, it’s hard to go back. Incredible tones are simple to dial in without overthinking, and parts will simply feel "finished" in the mix far quicker than before.

BB Tubes will also give you incredibly LOUD mixes. The soft clipping of the tubes brings down transient peak levels, while dramatically increasing perceived loudness. You’ll get a much louder mix before it starts digital clipping.

You also have options for a pre and post hi-shelf EQ, transformer in/out, bass relief – which removes the low frequencies from the side-chain input, a sensitivity control – which lets you choose the point at which you hit the tubes, a dry/wet knob and output gain.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

MAC

CPU: Intel Core i7 / i9 / Xeon-W / Apple Silicon

Memory: Minimum: 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended)

16 GB free disk space on the system drive

Operating System: 10.15.7, 11.6.5, 12.4. 13.0

Screen Resolution: Minimum: 1024x768; Recommended: 1280x1024 / 1600x1024

USB displays are not supported as the primary display

WINDOWS

CPU: Intel Core i5, i7, i9, Xeon (all Gen 5 and above); AMD Quad Core; AVX Support required

Memory: Minimum: 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended)

16 GB free disk space on the system drive

Operating System: Windows 10 64 bit (21H2); Windows 11 (21H2)

Screen Resolution: Minimum: 1024x768; Recommended: 1280x1024 / 1600x1024

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/waves-bb-tubes_184076_1_fb0733b2-c7dc-4ebd-aef7-ca7d6fdc8f12.jpg?v=1787094941
