The Speakers

ATC Loudspeakers SCM25A Pro Compact:

The ATC SCM Series are the first professional studio monitors to feature a custom-designed 3” mid-range driver for enhanced detail and clarity. The ATC SCM25A Pro also features a 7” bass driver to deliver an extended low frequency response. Designed for near or mid-field monitoring, the SCM25A Pros are perfect for professional producers, engineers and artists.

The SCM25A Pro is the smallest in the SCM Series and features a 25 mm neodymium soft dome tweeter, a hand-built 3” soft dome mid driver, and a hand-built 7˝ carbon-paper cone bass driver. The built-in 235 W class A/B 3-way amplifier delivers a crystal-clear frequency response even at high volumes. SCM Series monitors undergo individual frequency, gain and phase optimization at the ATC manufacturing facility.

ATC SCM12i Pro Install Monitor:

The ATC SCM12i Pro Install Monitor is a compact 2-way passive monitor designed for installation into recording, post production, broadcast and film studios. It’s compact size and exceptional performance make it an ideal loudspeaker for use in surround/multi-channel recording/mixing and immersive audio applications such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D.

To facilitate simple install, the cabinet features mounting points compatible with popular wall/ceiling brackets. The SCM12i is designed around the same philosophy as ATC’s 2 and 3-way active monitor loudspeakers and also employs driver components & technology found in these larger models resulting in exceptional consistency across the product range.

Subwoofer Pros Studio Sub 12:

The Subwoofer Pros Studio Sub 12 is a self-powered high end subwoofer system employing bass management, hi pass filtered outputs, and a sealed box front firing 12” high excursion cone low frequency driver. The use of the INFRA technology (developed by Bag End) mated to a built in 400 Watt US built power amplifier provides flat acoustical response down to 8 hertz. Maximum half space output level at 40 Hz from a single Studio Sub 12 is approximately 105 dB. Flexible input methods are available including a dedicated LFE input, a six input panel for 5.1 surround programs to either sum all the inputs to a single sub output or to have channel dedicated subwoofers. Five High Pass line level filtered outputs are provided for all 5 surround monitors via built in bass management. A line level Infra output is provided for adding matching “slave” subs for increased SPL output or improved room behavior. A unique Dynamic Filter protection system maintains undistorted bass despite the input level, without using compression.

The amplifiers

Crown CDi DriveCore Series:

The DriveCore Series is an evolution in amplification, providing an impressive mix of high-performance, rich feature set, and competitive cost. Using technology derived from Crown's flagship Installed Sound amplifier (Crown DriveCore Install series), the CDi DriveCore offers streamlined functionality to work in almost any small/medium installation, cinema, retail store, and more. Designed for ease-of-use in a variety of applications, the CDi DriveCore series includes network control/monitoring, high-level DSP, front-panel interface, and support for driving up to 100 V RMS speaker loads without requiring a transformer.

The CDi 2|300 amplifier is an analog input, 2 channel, 300 W per output channel power amplifier, while the 4|600 provides 600 W per channel for 4 output channels.

The Accessories

Sound Anchors ADJ1 56" Monitor Stands:

Sound Anchor ADJ1 Stands make proper speaker placement possible. When monitors are positioned properly on rigid stable platforms they work better period. The entire sound field will have more clarity, tones will be more accurate, dynamic contrasts will be greater and subtle anomalies in the mix will become more apparent. The common solutions to placement (shelves and wall mounts) are not good solutions. They do not isolate your monitors from your electronics, your monitors from each other or your monitors from the structure. Along with these three drawbacks they seldom position your monitors exactly where they need to be for best sound.

The Sound Anchors ADJ1 stands are designed to allow the engineer to correctly place a pair of monitors behind his console for best sound. These stands allow height and tilt adjustment of the monitors. The 14" x 17" bases and the uprights are filled and damped from the factory. ADJ1 stands offer a very solid and stable support for your speakers. The speaker platform is made of 1/4" thick aluminum which reduces the amount of energy that gets transferred into the stand. Sound Anchor ADJ1 stands isolate the speakers from the console, each other and the floor which gives you a cleaner, more detailed and more accurate sound.

K&M Speaker Ceiling Mounts:

The K&M Speaker Ceiling Mounts are robust and useful loudspeaker ceiling mounts with 9.842" distance and internal cable management. The swivel area is ±45 degrees. Within the parameters - the settings range from 0 to 45 degrees. The clamping bracket is for loudspeakers with a vertical mounting template from 2.75 to 3". A mounting bracket with side and central cable management makes mounting to the ceiling easier.
