These samples are not included in the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings, but have been specifically selected for this Volume. For example, while the Chamber Violins’ articulations in the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings include staccato, détaché, sustained, sforzato, tremolo, pizzicato, legato and portamento, the PLUS Volume supplements these with the addition of the following articulations: Short détaché, fortepiano, snap-pizzicato, half and whole tone trills, Repetition Performances (legato & spiccato), fast repetitions (150, 170, 190 bpm), and artificial harmonics (staccato & sustain).

Please note that the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings PLUS contains some Matrices that resort to Patches from the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings. The prior installation of the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings is therefore required in order to load these Matrices.

Included Instruments:

Violin chamber ensemble (6 players)

Viola chamber ensemble (4 players)

Cello chamber ensemble (3 players)

Double bass chamber ensemble (2 players)

Appassionata violins (20 players)

Appassionata violas (14 players)

Appassionata cellos (12 players)

Appassionata double basses (10 players)

System Requirements:

PC Windows 7/8/10 (latest update, 32/64-bit), Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2

Mac OS X 10.8 (latest update) or higher, Intel Core 2 Duo

2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)

VIENNA KEY (Vienna Symphonic Library USB protection device) or other USB eLicenser (e.g., from Steinberg or Arturia)

2.9 GB free hard drive space

Other configurations may work but are not actively supported

Recommended:

Windows 7/8/10 (latest update, 64-bit), Intel i5/i7/Xeon

Mac OS X 10.9 (or higher), Intel i5/i7/Xeon

4 GB RAM

SSD or fast separate hard drive (7200 rpm or faster)

AU/VST/AAX Native/RTAS compatible host (also works stand-alone)

RTAS version requires Pro Tools 7.3 or higher

AAX version requires Pro Tools 10.3.5 or higher

88 key master keyboard

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/vienna-se-vol-2-strings-plus_62188_1_730c4d1f-9d03-4b26-8e6b-317d5e707be3.jpg?v=1787092007
