tube-tech-ssa2a-10333-used
Tube-Tech SSA2A #10333 (Used)
The SSA 2A is a stereo summing amplifier from Tube Tech that performs summing of up to eight stereo pairs of input channels down to a single stereo output. The unit also has four mono inputs ready for hard-center panned tracks such as kick, snare, bass and lead vocals.

Many users of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) have experienced dissatisfaction with the internal digital summing of their systems. Providing the best of both digital and analog worlds, summing amplifiers can provide a more open, clear and punchier sound, allowing the mix to sounds like it was done on an expensive analog console.

The SSA 2A is a symmetrical two-stage amplifier, designed around two dual, low impedance and high transconductance triodes. The input transformer is part of the dual feedback configured as a so-called zero field transformer. The output stage is designed around two dual triodes in push-pull and an output transformer (with a static screen.) Both the summing amplifiers and the output amplifiers are symmetrical.

Note! It is important that the mono inputs are connected to outputs (even if not used) or terminated by shorting plugs to prevent additional noise

Stereo summing amplifier featuring two very low noise/low distortion summing amplifiers with a very wide frequency response

Eight stereo plus four mono inputs to one stereo output

Twenty-three step gold plated output gain control

Fully symmetrical circuitry from input to output

Zero field transformer balanced inputs

Two large VU meters display output level

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/used_tube-tech_ssa2a-__10333_52e9edd9-1c58-4f0b-a905-7dd19b9928d5.jpg?v=1787089025
