With 1/4" female jack input, BigAmp's low noise Class A amplifier provides high end amplification and converts the instrument output signal from unbalanced to balanced.

A piëzo transducer typically has an impedance of several Mega Ohms, which is much higher compared to the high-Z input of instrument preamps or mixing consoles. This prevents the transducer from delivering its potential output signal to the preamp and restricts transient response. Additionally, the high impedance combined with the capacity of the cable to the preamp forms a low pass filter, making a piëzo transducer often sound uninspiring.

BigAmp Piëzo is a BigAmp version specially designed to overcome above issues. It has a 7.5 Mega Ohms input Impedance, which enables the piëzo transducer to deliver its full potential. Signal amplification is low (3 dB) to allow for the highest possible headroom. Because of its small size BigAmp piëzo can be connected as close to the transducer as possible which keeps cable capacitance to a minimum.

Bring your own high quality DI everywhere. No hassle with batteries because BigAmp's circuit is powered with 24/48 V phantom power. The small form factor combined with the ease of use makes that every touring musician should have a BigAmp in their case or gigbag.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/triton-bigamp-piezo2_122242_1_de0fd31b-4c98-4673-a65c-46cafd0daf3e.jpg?v=1787093092
