Product Description
Beautifully detailed-sounding mics. Rich, yet present mids, with open top end. Great on piano, over heads, acoustic instruments, room mics etc. Cardioid only. The Telefunken M280 was manufactured by Neumann, and is nearly identical to a KM 84. The only differences are the Tuchel connector, the lack of a -10dB pad, and a different grille behind the capsule. These mics include new tuchel-to-XLR adapter cables.
The mics shown here are not identical. The capsule of one is slightly taller than the other, and one is marked M280N while the other is simply M280. Normally, M280N stands for a cardioid mic, (while M280K stands for omnidirectional). However, both of these are cardioid.
