Product Description
The flange sound has been with music throughout the ages - used on everything from vocals to drums, but a guitarist you might have heard of (Edward Van Halen) showed the only righteous place for flange is guitar. TC Electronic combined a classic tape flange with the awesome TonePrint technology, giving you access to everything from through-zero flanges to customized rockstar sounds.
The TC Electronic Vortex Mini Flanger is TonePrint enabled. This means you get the revered TC sound multiplied to infinity with rockstar-customized versions of the best flange sounds known to guitarkind.
You want a nice vintage vibed tape flange? It's there! You want a roaring 747 Jet-Flange, or maybe a nice modern hi-fi swirl? Yes, you guessed it, it's there! Due to TC Electronic's proprietary TonePrint technology, the sonic potential of this tiny beast is basically endless. So let your imagination run wild and go create flange awesomeness.
Word on the Street:
"The Vortex Mini still features all the versatility you'd need for smooth to insane depending on how much you toy with the depth, speed and feedback controls... the little sister mini pedal offers a fantastic inroad to the effect for anyone who just needs a sound they can set and forget, especially when you consider that you can load in TonePrints from Steve Stevens, Orianthi, Bumblefoot and more..."
