Solid State Logic Meter Pro is a comprehensive metering solution designed to meet the demands of both contemporary and traditional audio workflows. Building on the foundation of the original SSL Meter plug-in, Meter Pro adds a loudness metering suite and support for multichannel formats up to 7.1.4—while retaining essential tools like VU and PPM meters trusted by generations of engineers.
LOUDNESS METERING
A complete suite of Loudness visualizations including Momentary bar, Short-Term History capture and Histogram, plus customizable text value readouts and alerts make working to your desired delivery platform a breeze. Includes an extensive presets list covering various international broadcast, streaming and film standards, such as: ITU, EBU, ATSC, ARIB, AGCOM, YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, TASA and SAWA.
MULTI-CHANNEL SUPPORT
True Peak and RMS meters, supporting a range of multi-channel formats up 7.1.4 (Dolby Atmos) give you essential feedback on levels and overloads. Choose between different scales/systems: Non-Linear, Non-Linear 2x, Linear, Linear 2x, K-20, K-14, K-12.
PHASE AND STEREO BALANCE
A Lissajous phase scope with adjustable fade rate, together with a phase correlation meter flags any phase issues within your stereo mix. The L-R balance bar above the phase scope helps you easily identify if your stereo image is being pulled to the left or right of centre.
ANALOG TOOLS IN A DIGITAL WORLD
VUs and PPMs have been trusted metering tools amongst recording and broadcast engineers for decades and continue to provide highly valuable feedback about mix balances. Choose 'Custom' to select the source of the VU/PPM in multi-channel modes.
REALTIME FREQUENCY ANALYSIS
The 31-band Real-Time Analyser (RTA) displays the frequency spectrum of your instrument or mix - allowing you to pinpoint any problem areas. You can interrogate each band for precise frequency values, as well as being able to adjust the Peak hold time and Averaging time to suit the source material. Choose form a range of weighting options including none, C or A-Weighting.
SETTINGS
SSL Meter’s comprehensive settings control panel allows you to tailor parameters to your precise metering needs. Configure alerts and finesse the finer details to suite your workflow. The SSL Meter Pro plug-in is fully re-scalable, so whether you are setting it to 200% on a secondary monitor or you’re going down to 50% as you fight for screen real-estate, the scaling options have you covered.
