Product Description
This SSL Duality SE 24 was well maintained by its previous owner, award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton / Jason Isbell). The desk comes with the latest upgrade of the Delta software and is in excellent physical and running condition. Over $8000 in patch bay and cabling add-on’s come included, as well as the $1500 speaker shelf option.
Solid State Logic’s Duality is one of the most revered modern consoles on the market, as it harnesses SSL's legacy of excellence while adding the flexibility of a hybrid workflow. The console's responsive Channel TFT Screens offer precision in monitoring levels, and Ethernet connectivity allows you seamless control of your DAW while operating Duality.
When these features are coupled with the classic sound of SSL’s buss compression, SuperAnalogue mix buss, and channel EQ straight out of the E and G Series make for a console that will raise eyebrows both in the listening stage and the operation stage.
Classic Preamp Section
A signature of the SSL sound, each channel’s input features the well-known sound of SSL’s modern VHD input circuit (Variable Harmonic Drive). Clean when needed, harmonically rich when driven, the VHD preamp circuit is a mainstay in modern studios all across the world.
Total Recall
Much like the classic E Series and G Series consoles, the SSL Duality features the Total Recall function, allowing users to recall console settings after the initial session. Fader levels, channel settings, and more can be instantly recalled; the Duality even offers Total Recall for multiple users, allowing different engineers to coexist with ease.
Supportive Routing
Duality comes with full support for mixing in 5.1 Surround as well as standard stereo. 24 track busses are included and Duality feature 3 separate mix busses for optimal signal flow when mixing.
