Product Description
If you want character and vibe for days, Slate Digital Stellar Echo SD-210 delivers. Add subtle warmth or get outrageously warped. Explore the outer limits of your creativity. The iconic vintage tape delay defined the sound of an era and now it's reimagined for new creative possibilities.
AUTHENTIC TAPE DELAY FOR CREATIVE SOUNDS
Stellar Echo SD-201 is a faithful recreation of an iconic tape delay from the 1970s. It captures the warm, saturated sound and charming irregularities of analog tape delays - including subtle pitch deviations and natural sound losses that play a central role in dub, reggae and trip-hop.
The plugin not only allows classic delay, but also invites you to experiment creatively: Exciting pitch effects and textures are created by changing the tape speed. In addition to authentic reproduction, modern features have been added that go far beyond the possibilities of the original hardware.
WHY TAPE DELAY?
Unlike digital delays, a tape delay creates natural fluctuations in timing and pitch, which makes for a warm, lively sound. Each repetition becomes sonically "darker", which fits perfectly into a mix, and overdriving the tape opens up additional creative possibilities. From classic echo to psychedelic soundscapes, Stellar Echo SD-201 does it all and more.
