simon-systems-db-1a
Simon Systems DB-1A

The Simon Systems DB-1A is the ultimate in direct insertion capability. For too long, the direct box has been the "weak link" in the professional audio chain. The DB-1A changes that. The DB-1A does not use nor require phantom power (even though it can be connected to phantom powered systems), and therefore is not limited to the constraints of phantom powered designs. It utilizes state-of-the-art design techniques that cannot be found in conventional direct boxes, active or passive. The DB-1A boasts a totally active transformerless audio path. Therefore, there is no insertion loss (unless the attenuation mode is used). Conventional DIs typically have 12dB or more insertion loss. The line-level output mode allows direct insertion into tape decks, bypassing mic pre-amps and mixing consoles completely. The DB-1A has incredible headroom, more than most mixing consoles!* With the variable line and attenuation trim, you can convert - 10dB signals to +4dB and vice-versa. Best of all the DB-1A is competitively priced. Test and compare with any other DI and we are sure you will agree;

"Simon Systems - Simply the Best!" Simon Systems Products are manufactured by Simon-Kaloi Engineering, Ltd.

* Simon Systems Optional PS-1 Power Supply is Recommended
