Product Description
The Shure Super 55 Deluxe Vocal Microphone features a signature satin chrome-plated die-cast casing, supercardioid polar pattern, vibrant blue foam, and tailored frequency response for natural vocals and speech. Integrated, swivel stand mount is included. The combination of updates make the Super 55 the ideal choice when looking for a dramatic - yet affordable - improvement in sound quality with an unmistakable vintage design.
Ideal for stage, studio recording, podcasting, and other sound applications where a stand-mounted microphone with a classic look is desired.
With inner workings that mirror our premium vocal mic — the high-output BETA 58A — the Super 55 pushes the voice as far as the stagecraft. Croon smoother. Add more depth to your drama. However you use the tailored-for-natural-voice response, you’ll have the sound to match the showmanship.
The supercardioid directional pattern captures the exact sound you want, regardless of acoustic environment. So it’s perfect for live performance in a variety of venues. The shock-mounted cartridge minimises stand noise. So swing while you sing. It can handle the motion. Microphones get dropped, tossed and knocked around, which is why Shure built the Super 55 with a rugged die-cast casing, so it’s always ready for the next show.
