Product Description
Engineered for precision and built for the stage, the Shure Beta 98AMP/C miniature cardioid condenser instrument microphone delivers studio-quality sound in a compact, performance-ready format. Designed specifically for drums and percussion, this miniature condenser microphone captures every detail with clarity, punch, and control.
PRECISION CARDIOID CAPSULE
At its core is a precision-tuned cardioid capsule paired with an integrated XLR preamplifier, streamlining your setup while maintaining a clean, consistent signal path. The result is a smooth, natural response with excellent gain-before-feedback and strong rejection of unwanted off-axis noise, making it ideal for high-volume environments. With a tailored frequency response and wide dynamic range, the Beta 98AMP/C excels in capturing the full impact of drums — from tight transients to resonant lows—without distortion, even under high sound pressure levels.
FLEXIBLE GOOSENECK FOR OPTIMAL PLACEMENT
The flexible gooseneck design allows for exact mic placement, so you can dial in the perfect position on snares, toms, or other percussion instruments without getting in the player’s way. Combined with the included A75M universal mount, it offers secure, versatile positioning whether on stage or in the studio.
