The Sennheiser MD 409-U3 dynamic microphone is unique in appearance and especially well suited for close proximity miking of high sound pressure levels. Capable of maintaining excellent acoustical separation of individual sound sources due to its tight cardioid characteristics, the MD 409 features a large transducer membrane which insures accurate transmission of powerful sound sources without distortion or coloration of the signal. Shock mounted to dampen handling noise and mechanical feedback, the MD 409 is an ideal mic for use in recording studios as well as on stage for sound reinforcement.
