Product Description
The Sennheiser EW-DX SK / SKM-S BASE SET (R1-9) is a versatile and feature-rich digital wireless system for those who sing or speak in public featuring seamless product pairing and management via the EW-D Smart Assist App. The Base Set package includes a dual-channel digital wireless system with bodypack and handheld transmitters. The dual-channel digital UHF wireless system is designed to simplify your workflow while delivering uncompromising audio quality. This configuration includes a 1/2-rack, dual-channel receiver, one bodypack transmitter without a lavalier, and one handheld transmitter without a mic capsule—so you can choose your preferred lav mic and mic capsule for the application.
With a dynamic range of 134 dB, the transmitters handle just about any input level you can throw at it. Wide 16 MHz tuning range, intelligent switching diversity, auto-scan, equidistant tuning grid, and Link Density mode all work to provide rock-solid wireless performance and massive channel counts, even in challenging RF environments. Bluetooth capabilities allow you to remotely sync components and change settings from your phone using the Smart Assist app, while Sennheiser's Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager software provide a computer-based control platform for more extensive networked setups. The EW-DX is backward-compatible with EW-D components.
This version operates on the R1-9 audio link frequency range: 520 to 607 MHz.
RAISING THE BAR
Evolution Wireless Digital breaks the boundaries by providing more dynamic range than any wireless system currently on the market. Automatically securing the most reliable signal in a matter of seconds and scalable up 90 channels thanks to 56 MHz of tuning bandwidth, it’s easy to see why this wireless system is in a class of its own.
EQUIDISTANT SPACING – SIMPLER THAN IT SOUNDS
Evolution Wireless Digital features an equidistant tuning grid previously only found in Sennheiser's flagship Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 wireless systems. Quality components with exceptional linearity eliminate intermodulation between EW-D transmitters, allowing frequencies to be equally spaced every 600 kHz alongside each other. This simplifies frequency coordination for wireless beginners and seasoned professionals alike, and also contributes to the system’s scalability and impressively high channel count.
