sE Electronics V7 ENG Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone

Product Description

The sE Electronics V7 ENG is built to perform—and built to last. Reliable, rugged, and roadworthy meets lush, vibrant, and clear. The V7 ENG is a dynamic handheld vocal microphone designed specifically for ENG/EFP professionals. Its extended handle easily accommodates a broadcast flag, while its build quality matches the rigorous standards of the classic V7. Using the same acclaimed supercardioid capsule, it delivers pristine sound quality with excellent feedback rejection, high intelligibility, impressive off-axis response, and exceptional handling noise control. The tight polar pattern helps isolate your source, even in loud or less-than-ideal environments—making it a reliable choice for demanding broadcast applications.

A patented integrated shock mount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing class-leading low handling noise. Combined with the longer handle for station identifiers, the V7 ENG is purpose-built for professional broadcast work.

Its robust all-metal construction, stainless spring-steel mesh grille, and gold-plated XLR contacts ensure durability and reliability for years to come, with no corrosion. Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances, and high-quality workmanship guarantee excellent sensitivity, consistency, and a rich, natural sound.

BASED ON SE’S BEST-SELLING MICROPHONE, THE V7

The DMC7 dynamic capsule has been custom-developed for a crisp, open sound that perfectly captures your voice and instruments in the most natural way you've ever heard in the studio or in the field - and its sophisticated supercardioid capsule design helps isolate your voice from other instruments, ensuring vast amounts of gain before feedback. Proven Neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances and high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and superb consistency.

PATENTED INTEGRATED SHOCK MOUNT

The V7 ENG’s patented shock mount efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing exceptionally low handling noise as compared to other mics in its class. This means you can feel free to move around on stage without fear of rumbles, pops, or anything other than your voice coming through.

ALL-METAL HOUSING AND BEVELED SPRING STEEL GRILLE

The V7 ENG’s road-ready design is all metal - no plastic parts here. The chassis' high quality, highly durable zinc alloy is designed to hold up under stress for years, and the spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free for perfect reliability. The beveled edge around the grille prevents your mic from rolling around when you put it down on top of your amp or the stage floor.

ROBUST DESIGN

Efficiently reduce unwanted wind noise and plosive pops. The V7 ENG comes with the black internal windscreen inside the grille, but we've included an external windscreen too for noisy/windy outdoor broadcast environments. The V7 ENG’s gold-plated XLR connector also ensures a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come. All in all, the V7 ENG makes it easier than ever to capture an amazingly full, rich sound with minimal processing, for crystal clear broadcasts.
