Product Description
The Rupert Neve Designs Mix Bus Bundle gives you a complete Rupert Neve Designs analog mix bus. The 5057 Orbit is a 16x2 summing mixer with a Class A, transformer-coupled mix bus and custom output transformers based on the design first developed for the Shelford Channel. It pulls DAW stems out of the box and adds analog depth and cohesion. Silk Red and Silk Blue modes and a variable Texture control set how much harmonic saturation it adds. The summed output then feeds the MBT Master Bus Transformer, a two-channel Class A processor for final shaping. The MBT combines a high-pass filter and shelving EQ, an optical Color Comp with parallel Blend, a mid-side Width section, and the Super Silk saturation circuit with Harmonics and Zener Drive controls. Detented, recallable controls on both units keep sessions repeatable, so the pair suits producers and mix engineers who want console-style summing and polished master bus processing with DAW flexibility.
MBT MASTER BUS TRANSFORMER
The Rupert Neve Designs MBT Master Bus Transformer is an all-analog, two-channel audio processor for mix buss and mastering applications. It features a high-pass filter shelf EQ for sculpting frequencies with surgical precision, an optical color comp for smooth, musical dynamic control, and stereo width controls to enhance spatial imaging. The new Super Silk circuit design adds rich harmonic saturation, while the Class A signal path delivers studio-grade sound quality.
5057 ORBIT 16X2 SUMMING MIXER
Firmly rooted in six decades of console design experience, the Rupert Neve Designs 5057 Orbit Summing Mixer gives your mixes the legendary tonality, power, and wide-open soundstage that only Rupert Neve’s Class A analog summing can provide. Coupled with Rupert’s famous custom audio transformers and Silk Red & Blue circuitry for variable harmonic saturation, the Orbit launches sterile in-the-box mixes to new heights of tone, depth and clarity – without compromising the recallable convenience and repeatability of your DAW-based workflow.
