As it turned out, these no-frills axes had some serious mojo. From chiming clean to serious scream, and everything in-between, there’s nothing to get in the way of their organic and fiery tone.  Many players agree a Junior is more dynamically responsive and touch-sensitive than it’s humbucker-fitted daddy. That’s why an LP Jr or Special that in 1985 would have been a $250 music-store afterthought, now fetches some seriously big bucks.
