Presonus NSB 32.16 32-Channel AVB Networked Stage Box

Product Description

Designed to work seamlessly with PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixers, the PreSonus NSB 32.16 stage box offers 32 locking combo mic/line inputs with remote-controlled XMAX preamps that include gain compensation for shared input scenarios. All inputs can be controlled from a StudioLive Series III console and from free PreSonus UC Surface software. All sixteen outputs employ locking XLR jacks. A built-in 2-port AVB switch lets you daisy-chain multiple units. A rugged steel chassis with multi-position rack ears allows I/O to be available from the front or the rear of the rack and flushed or recessed for flexible installation. As a standard 3U 19-inch rack unit, the NSB 32.16 is compatible with most racks and universal stage pockets.

GAIN COMPENSATION MEANS INDIVIDUAL CONTROL

With some networked systems, every mixer on the network must share the same preamp level. Not so with the StudioLive Series III ecosystem: NSB-series stage boxes have onboard DSP that provides gain compensation on every input that allows every mixer on the network to make gain adjustments relative to the level set on the master mixer. In this way, every mixer can adjust the preamp level locally for optimal gain staging.

RUGGED STAGE BOX, FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION

PreSonus built the NSB stage boxes with rugged steel chassis designed to survive the rigors of the most demanding tours. The NSB 32.16 features adjustable rack ears, so you can choose between flush or recessed as well as front or rear I/O installation to best fit your rack. Thanks to the standard 3U 19-inch design, the NSB 32.16 is also compatible with most universal stage pockets for permanent installations. Both the NSB 16.8 and 8.8 feature sturdy in a traditional stage box form factor but these models are also install-friendly: Just remove the handles and attach the optional rack-mount kit, and they are ready to be racked in your studio or backstage

StudioLive Series III networked products form an ecosystem that is easily expanded and quickly configured. Designed to enhance each other, these products are at the forefront of AVB networking technology. The NSB stage boxes can be used alone or with many other NSB-series stage boxes to add remote audio to one StudioLive Series III digital mixer or to multiple mixers on the same network. For StudioLive Series III mixers that have limited onboard analog I/O, NSB-series stage boxes provide a simple expansion to a full 32- or 64-channel mixing system.
