The Neve 8424E is an international standard, resettable 24 channel console. Its Marinair transformer-coupled stereo mix bus, derived from the iconic 80-series consoles, delivers the legendary Neve sound every time you mix. Supercharged by Neve Elements processors (sold separately) the 8424E is available with your choice of EQ and Dynamics, allowing you to specify your workflow to your projects.
Every 8424E comes fitted with a high resolution TFT touchscreen, the Elements Upstand Screen, mounted to the console upstand. Connected Elements appear on it automatically, providing graphical control of settings and routing for every processor in the studio, so you never have to leave the sweet spot whilst making music. Control every connected Element directly from your desk with the E-Controller. Authentic Neve processing is at your fingertips. Two digitally controlled VCA compressors serve your mixbus, groups or recording path. Retain 500 series smart-routing with instant reset of mixbus compression.

Powered by Neve Elements, the 8424E allows you to choose your compliment of EQ and Dynamics in any combination, tailored to your unique workflow. The 88R EQ, 1084 EQ, 88R Dynamics brings authentic Neve console circuitry into compact, digitally controlled audio processors, bringing the definitive sound of the 88R and classic warmth of the 1084 into a modular studio system. Each Elements unit contains an intelligent insert matrix, seamlessly integrating Neve analogue audio processing with all your favorite outboard equipment through the 8424E. As your projects change, your ambitions change and your clients change, the 8424E evolves with you.

The processing can be wherever it belongs in the studio, while its controls are wherever you want to work. Your Neve is no longer defined by where the hardware is. Control the Elements processors directly from your DAW, with every Element setting recallable as part of the session itself, offering instant reset of all parameters. The Neve Elements App gives you the same graphical control when you want to work independently of the DAW. Either way, nothing about the sound is emulated – you are breaking out of the box into Neve analogue circuitry, controlling it precisely, recalling it perfectly, every time.
