The Mogami W2932 is a professional-grade 8-channel multicore microphone snake cable designed for studio installations, live sound systems, broadcast applications, and custom audio wiring. Built for high-performance signal transmission, W2932 combines exceptional electrical characteristics with a compact, super-flexible design that remains easy to handle in demanding environments.
PROFESSIONAL MULTICORE DESIGN
W2932 features eight individually twisted and shielded audio pairs engineered for clean, low-noise signal transfer. Each channel includes a served bare copper spiral shield and dedicated drain wire for simplified termination and reliable shielding performance. The compact outer diameter allows high channel counts without excessive bulk, making the cable ideal for stage snakes, patch systems, and rack wiring.
PREMIUM ELECTRICAL PERFORMANCE
Designed for professional audio applications, W2932 uses XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation for excellent electrical stability and low capacitance. The insulation resists shrinking or melting during soldering, simplifying assembly and ensuring long-term reliability. Mogami’s low-noise design minimizes hum pickup, electromagnetic interference, and handling noise for transparent audio reproduction in critical recording and live sound environments.
RUGGED AND FLEXIBLE CONSTRUCTION
Despite its rugged construction, W2932 remains highly flexible and easy to route, even in low-temperature environments down to -20°C (-4°F). The cable’s durable PVC jacket protects the internal conductors while maintaining flexibility for touring, portable rigs, and permanent installations.
FAST IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
Mogami’s professional identification system simplifies installation and maintenance. Each channel is clearly numbered and underlined directly on the core jacket for easy identification from either end of the cable. Outer jackets and internal conductors are color coded using standard resistor color conventions, allowing technicians to quickly identify conductor pairs during assembly and troubleshooting.
