The horn is fixed within\r\nthe enclosure to ensure an accurate acoustic\r\ncrossover, phase response, and an incredibly\r\nconsistent vertical pattern. The 580 Hz crossover\r\npoint places most of the dialog in the horn, which\r\nis ideal for cinema applications.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eDesigned and manufactured at Meyer Sound's\r\nheadquarters in Berkeley, California, the\r\nAcheron Studio's drivers include one 15-inch lowfrequency cone driver and one high-frequency\r\n4-inch diaphragm compression driver. Both\r\ndrivers yield uncompromising quality and full\r\nbandwidth and are powered by sophisticated\r\nonboard amplification. The proprietary Meyer\r\nSound power amplifier is a two-channel, class\r\nAB\/bridged amplifier with complementary MOSFET\r\noutput stages that yields a total output of 700 W\r\n(1,400 W peak). Built-in signal processing includes\r\nan electronic crossover and correction filters — to\r\nachieve a flat phase and frequency response —\r\nalong with driver protection circuitry.
