To provide even more flexibility and features for professional recording engineers who use Mercury G810 Rack Systems, Mercury have added three (3) new Mercury D Series G8 Modules and updated the Mercury D Series G8 Sum-It to aesthetically match the new G8 Modules.
The First NEW Mercury D Series G8 Module is the Mercury G8 Blender. The G8 Blender - Wet / Dry Blending has 8 channels of Active Wet/Dry Blending Pots (potentiometers). When the G8 Blender is installed in Channel 9 and 10 Slots of a Mercury G810 System I or II, the Inputs and Output of Channel 1-8 modules are routed to the G8 Blender before going each Module/Slot Input and Output of the G810 Rack System. This allows you to easily use the G8 Blender with each Module in the Mercury G810 Rack System (Ch 1-8) to dial in the exact sound your looking from your favorite equalizers and compressors. The G8 Blender makes parallel compression and equalization easy. The G8 Blender allows you to chose Full Dry Signal or Full Wet Signal, or anywhere in-between on each channel.
The G8 Blender, like all MDS G8 Modules are proprietary to the Mercury G810 Rack Systems (I or II), no other 500 Rack has the capability to use these modules. Proudly Made in the USA.
