Product Description
The massive arena guitar rock tones of the ‘70s just refuse to die. There is something visceral about stacks of English amplification cranked to the max and producing sound pressure levels high enough to change your genetic structure that we just can’t get enough of.
Lotus Pedal’s White Overdrive is designed to provide just that type of Rock God tone in a set-and-forget pedal configuration. The White Overdrive utilizes a novel CD 448 hex inverter circuit design that produces an incredibly touch-sensitive playing experience—thick and full with plenty of bite. Lotus’s Sean Erspamer chose high-end capacitors normally associated with pro audio applications along with his ears and taste to voice the White Overdrive’s circuit so precisely, there is no need for any EQ or tone controls.
We like the old school amp-like characteristics and superior dynamics of the White Overdrive. Back off your guitar’s volume knob and your tone cleans right up for those extended weepy rock ballads. Need more treble and bass? Use those knobs on your amp and guitar—that’s why the God of Rock put them there. Again, Lotus Pedal’s set-and-forget philosophy produces quality sounds with incredible simplicity—perfect for channeling your inner Uriah Heep or Molly Hatchet.
