Product Description
The JBL Intonato Desktop Controller is an intuitive and ergonomic hardware-based remote control for the powerful JBL Intonato 24 Monitor Management Tuning System. Featuring a small footprint and rugged, high-quality construction, the controller provides tactile access to the key functions of Intonato 24. Ease of use is the hallmark of its design, from the conveniently laid out controls to the informative multi-color LCD displays. As simple to set up as it is to use, the Intonato Desktop Controller adds convenience and flexibility to any Intonato 24 system.
Built to Last
The Intonato Desktop Controller features an ergonomic design that includes a large volume knob and eight strategically placed switches. The knob and the faceplate are made of durable anodized aluminum, and the switches have that heavy-duty, robust feel that tells you this unit was built to withstand the rigors of professional use. Its compact size—less than 7 inches deep and 5 inches wide—gives you the flexibility to place it at the most convenient operating location.
Easy Control of Key Features
The knob and switches are laid out to make the workflow as intuitive as possible. Each control has a single purpose and an easy-to-read label. There's no need to scroll through menus to find key functions—they're all literally at your fingertips. Easily adjust volume, Speaker Mute, Speaker Solo, Talkback, Bass Management On/Off, Scene recall and more.
Visual Feedback via Multi-Color Display
An accurate loudness display is essential when working with complex monitor systems, especially in audio post-production situations for film and TV. The Intonato Desktop Controller's twin multicolored LCD displays not only provide vital loudness information, they also show the status of other key system functions. If clipping occurs, a bright-red warning indicator lights.
Easy System Integration
Integrating the Intonato Desktop Controller into your Intonato 24 system couldn't be easier. Just connect a single Ethernet cable between the controller and the main unit, and you're ready to go. The network connection also makes it easy to download future firmware updates.
Console Monitor Section Controls
Beyond controlling the powerful monitor-management and room-tuning features of Intonato 24, the desktop remote unit provides workstation users with the "monitor section" functions of a studio mixing console. These include features like monitor switching, Master Volume, Master Dim, Master Mute, Speaker Mute and Talkback.
Wide Range of Usage Scenarios
The Intonato Desktop Controller offers convenience, power, and flexibility to Intonato 24 system users of all types—including commercial multi-room audio-for-picture facilities, broadcast control rooms and mobile trucks, digital audio workstation users, film/TV composers working from project studios, and film and educational facilities with post-production studios and classrooms.
