This is the original parametric EQ! Designed and built by George Massenburg (now of GML), who wanted to create an equalizer that did not rely on inductors and switches. The result was the parametric equalizer, with the novel ability of bandwidth control, which first appeared in 1969. These units are very rare and seldom available.
