Though the line got great reviews and was embraced by many famous engineers, production was limited to a small number of units, and the line was discontinued in 2000. This chassis includes 10 individual tube mic preamps, each utilizing a custom input transformer, a shielded General Electric military style 6072A dual triode for the preamp stage, and a wide bandwidth Sylvania 12FQ7 for the output stage. Mic input Z is 200 ohms nominal, line impedance is 100K. XLR connectors for Mic and Line Out are on the rear. There is also a 1\/4” TRS jack for balanced line out. Max gain is 53 dB, equivalent input noise is better than 126 dBm, output S\/N ratio is -85 dB.
