ILIO Ascension is a collection of 276 patches for Omnisphere consisting of risers, power downs, swells, textures, and BPM-movers, presented in an entirely new way. Now you have the freedom and control to choose the timing to meet your demands. Presented in 2, 4, 8, and 16 bar iterations (with a smattering of 1 and 0.5 bar versions thrown in for good measure), each riser, power down, and swell will finish its crescendo at the right ending point, no matter the tempo, every time.
Whether you need short transitions, song starters, power downs, or anticipation-inducing builds, Ascension puts the control in your hands. Ascension was designed for EDM producers and DJs, as well as Film and Television composers. Each patch has been meticulously crafted, pulling from both Omnisphere’s powerful synthesis engine, and its vast arsenal of included sonic fireworks.
Also, unlike other similar libraries, many sounds in Ascension hold and transform into drones or pulsations after the crescendo, allowing you to add beats and other elements on the downbeat, if you desire. Or you can release the keys after the final beat is completed to bring it to an end.
New, free upgrade in 2018: New sounds were added that allow you to use dry versions that end cold, or add an effects mix to the end using your modulation wheel, effectively creating a "tail" that trails off.
Ascension gives you useful controls with your modulation wheel. Many patches are also optimized for use with The Orb, giving you even more real-time control on stage and in the studio.
