Though reduced in size compared to a full grand piano, electric grand pianos employed the same action of hammers hitting strings, with their vibrations captured by electromagnetic pickups rather than microphones.

At home in any setting

Becoming equally popular on stage and in studio, the sound of the electric grand is bright and edgy with a distinctive attack and decay that’s immediately recognizable.

For Electromagnetik, we sampled an immaculate example of a ‘70s Yamaha CP70B electric grand with 8 real velocities across the keyboard. There are no loops, only full-length samples of a revered electric grand piano in prime playing condition.

In Electric Grand C70P, you’ll find something that compares to no other piano. Now you can experience exactly the same sound and expression of the electric grand piano behind the work of Billy Joel, Tony Banks, Joe Zawinul, Peter Gabriel and others.

SampleTank 4

The new SampleTank 4 has been re-designed from the ground up to be every musician’s “go to” workstation for music creation, with a completely new rescalable interface, a massively expanded sample library and a new cutting-edge sound engine with efficient disk streaming, to deliver more powerful music creation tools than you ever imagined.
