The HLabs EQ169 SEPIA is a simple but very musical 3-band equalizer, featuring a semi-parametric midrange in the compact SEPIA modular format. It is the perfect companion to the PRE169DC mic preamp as a go-to tracking EQ for your SEPIA modular setup! Inspired by the legendary Studer 169 mixing desk, the EQ169 is a classic, yet very musical 3-band EQ with the original ±15 dB high and low shelves and a semi-parametric "Presence" band. This is certainly what makes this console so sought after today.
THE SEPIA PLATFORM
SEPIA is a platform built up of Modules and Hosts. Modules are brought to you by all your favorite manufacturers, while Hosts house them for all scenarios. Karno’s patent-pending Bridging Signal Flow between Module and Host creates a completely analog signal path, exploiting digitally controlled analog infrastructure, to provide a fully featured platform for the modern user. A SEPIA Module could be anything: from microphone preamps, equalizers, dynamics processors, effects, vacuum tube designs, DSP and more.
