The Grace Design REX Microphone Preamp Pedal is an onstage tool allowing performers to shape the tone, definition, volume, and EQ of any microphone! With its intuitive interface quickly mold your vocals or add boost when they need to soar in the mix. You can also use the REX to amplify miked acoustic instruments. The REX brings Grace Design's preamp architecture into a convenient rugged metal pedalboard-friendly chassis, making it perfect for live gigging.
The onboard gain control allows you to access up +57 dB of gain. Additional controls allow you engage the highpass filter, tweak the 2-band EQ, or boost your signal up to +10 dB. The onboard FX loop allow you to add EQ, reverb, and more - expanding on the tonal possibilities! The aforementioned highpass filter is enabled by a toggle that boosts presence with a -12 dB roll-off per octave with a 75 Hz floor for a more musical sound. The 2-band EQ features a ±10 dB range across lows and highs for darkening overly bright signals and vice versa with muddier sounds.
