Product Description
Continuing the tradition of providing well factored active monitoring products, comes the Genelec 8030.LSE PowerPak Plus, a new comprehensive multi-channel monitoring system specifically designed for post-production suites and recording studios with control rooms measuring less than 85 m3 (3000 cubic feet). The 8030.LSE PowerPak system is a perfectly tailored solution and simplifies the process of creating a new multi-channel monitoring system or upgrading an existing stereo monitoring environment to 5.1 surround.
The 8030.LSE PowerPak system consists of five Genelec 8030B two-way, bi-amplified active monitors, one Genelec 7360A active subwoofer, and a Genelec Acousti/Tape frequency/wavelength measuring tape. In addition, a Genelec 8030.LSE PowerPak Plusw setup guide is included for accurate speaker placement, wiring and fine-tuning.
8030B Studio Monitor
When your project requires a powerful performance with no sacrifice in quality, the Genelec 8030B active studio monitor is designed to exceed your expectations.
As strikingly stylish as it is sonically impressive, the 8030B features the rounded edges and colour-free, accurate reproduction of the rigid all-aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™). Every element of the design is crafted to perfect your listening experience. Precise on- and off-axis frequency reproduction is courtesy of the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™). Broad low-frequencies and high SPLs are delivered with a flow-optimised internal curved reflex tube and a maximised internal volume. And when you’re finished, Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) circuitry detects when your system is no longer in use, placing it into an environmentally friendly, power-saving standby mode.
From professional studios to outside broadcast vehicles, the 8030B has been crafted to combine extraordinary power with absolute precision.
7360A SAM Studio Subwoofer
Ready for multi-channel audio and designed to deliver absolute accuracy at low frequencies, the 7360A is definitely Smart.
Built upon Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) technology with all of the features of Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) at its heart, the 7360A Smart subwoofer is the perfect 10 inch partner for any Genelec Smart monitor.
With an integral 300 W Class D amplifier and a peak SPL of 109 dB, the 7360A is deceptively powerful in a compact package, yet tempered with the accurate tonal characteristics and high dynamic capabilities of the proven 7000 Series. The subwoofer supports a distributed bass management architecture – a cost-effective package offering support for 7.1 multi-channel set-ups over analogue XLR inputs and outputs together with stereo AES/EBU XLR inputs and outputs without the need for additional external A/D converters. More versatility is available through its SAM features. Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) 2.0 software allows for the fine adjustment of up to 30 individual Smart monitors and Smart subwoofers, while AutoCal™ compensates for detrimental room influences to perfectly calibrate your set-up for your listening environment.
The ideal low frequency monitoring tool for small to mid-sized studios, post and broadcast facilities and outside broadcast vehicles, the 7360A Smart subwoofer ensures definition and neutrality you can trust
