Product Description
The Gefell UM 930 is a multi-pattern large-diaphragm condenser microphone featuring ultra-low noise and flexible pickup responses for detailed recording of vocals and instruments including guitars, keyboard, percussion, wind, and string instruments in both the studio and broadcast facilities.
Its dual-capsule design includes five selectable polar patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid, wide cardioid, supercardioid, and figure-8) making it useful as a single main microphone or in stereo and mid-side set-ups. Transformerless circuitry employs a transistor amplifier produing a mere 7 dBA of self-noise.
With a high sensitivity, standard 3-pin XLR output connector, and 48V phantom powering allow it to be paired well with a variety of mic preamps. The set includes an EA-92 elastic suspension mount to secure the UM 930 and curtail vibrations and handling noise. An aluminum flight case is included to protect your mic and mount during travel.
