Product Description

The Exponential Surround Reverb Bundle + Excalibur combines PhoenixVerb Surround, R2 Surround, and Excalibur.

PhoenixVerb Surround

The PhoenixVerb Surround reverb plug-in is simply the most natural and enveloping reverb you can buy. Supporting formats from mono all the way through 7.1, this is the reverb for music, foley, games, dialog and effects. Easy to use, with over 900 presets, this is a reverb that's made for a busy workflow.

Early reflections are flexible and easy to adjust: you can focus the sense of space in ways that seat your material nicely into complex mixes. The reverberant signal is completely free of artifacts: no looping and no metallic feel. Automation is smooth, and with EUCON support, plugin controls appear nicely-organized on large or small format consoles.

Presets are easily categorized under several keywords. With a single mouse click you can add any preset to a list of favorites to make your work go even faster.

But the sound is what will bring you back. PhoenixVerb Surround isn't a pasted-on reverb. It integrates with the source in ways you won't even notice--until you take it away. Whether you need halls, plates, chambers, rooms, futzes or exteriors--this is the solution.

R2 Surround

The Exponential Audio R2 Surround reverb plug-in brings something special to the table that you won't find anywhere else. Supporting formats from mono all the way through 7.1, this reverb can be used anywhere you need a little flavor (or a lot). Easy to use, with over 800 presets, this is a reverb that's made for a busy workflow.

Like PhoenixVerb Surround, early reflections are flexible and easy to adjust: you can focus the sense of space in ways that seat your material nicely into complex mixes. The reverb signal uses a flexible chorus that adds a rich tasty sound to voice, instruments or anywhere you might need reverb as a character.

There's also a powerful gate that can be used as a musical effect or as a way to blend ADR and location dialog. It can also be used in subtle ways to keep a complex mix from getting messy.

Automation is smooth, and with EUCON support, plugin controls appear nicely-organized on large or small format consoles.

Presets are easily categorized under several keywords. With a single mouse click, you can add any preset to a list of favorites to make your work go even faster.

But the sound is the real reason to use R2 Surround. The reverb floats in the space around you. Material is converted from something ordinary into something you want to hear again and again.

Excalibur

There's nothing like the Exponential Audio Excalibur. It's the plug-in that creates whole new worlds. Need a classical delay unit with feedback and EQ? Need to sync it to tempo? It's right here. Need a chorus to fatten an instrumental part? Or a flanger that goes from mild to wild? That's all in Excalibur. Maybe you need a distorter. Or pitch shifter. Need to do bit reduction to model an old processor? How about a resonant filter for 'wah' effects? Or a resonator for truly spooky worlds? Maybe a little reverb? Or a phaser? This is the place.

These are all great effects all by themselves. But the real power of Excalibur is the way effects can be combined and modulated. There are 4 signal chains (called Voices) that can be treated independently or looped through one another. Most parameters can be modulated from a huge list of modulators - LFOs, input/output levels, soft controls on the GUI - to make effects that are dynamic. They respond to the signal. They respond to tempo.

Excalibur is deep. But you don't have to do it all yourself. There are over 500 presets waiting for you. You'll find autopanners, guitar cabinets, rich flangers, chorused reverbs, telephone futzes, vintage echo effects and much much more. And you don't have to wait around for your output. With under a millisecond of latency, Excalibur is perfectly at home in a live rack or a studio. It's powerful, fast and efficient.
