The Erica Synths Bullfrog Drums is a hands-on drum machine, sampler, and CV/gate sequencer designed to make rhythm creation intuitive, expressive, and inspiring. Built for both beginners and experienced musicians, it combines classic workflow with modern flexibility—making it equally at home in the studio, classroom, or live performance setup.

CREATIVE DRUM ENGINE

At its core, Bullfrog Drums features 7 sample-based voices, giving you a powerful yet accessible platform for building beats. Unlike traditional drum machines, it’s not limited to percussion—any sound can become your instrument, from textured noise to melodic stabs and atmospheric drones.

SAMPLING AND SOUND DESIGN

Capture and shape your own sounds with ease using the line input and built-in microphone for live sampling. With up to 16 banks for user samples and 64MB of memory, you can create a deeply personalized sound library. Fine-tune every element with dedicated controls for pitch, decay, filtering, overdrive, and more, giving you full control over your sonic palette.

HANDS-ON SEQUENCING

The X0X-style step sequencer delivers a classic workflow enhanced with modern features like parameter locks, probability, ratchets, and microtiming. Create evolving rhythms with up to 64 steps per sequence, and store your ideas across multiple pattern and kit banks for seamless performance and recall.

PERFORMANCE AND CONNECTIVITY

Designed for integration, Bullfrog Drums includes MIDI (DIN and USB-C) and a CV/gate sequencer, allowing it to control and sync with other synthesizers and gear. Stereo outputs, a headphone jack, and a built-in speaker make it ready for any environment—from private practice to live shows.
