Made strictly for use in EMI studios around the world, this console was never available to the public. The same model desk is still in use today at Abbey Road's mastering studios.

The TG12410 has a sound so musical and unique that Chandler Ltd. released a plug-in emulation of the modules a few years back. But no plug-in can match the sound of the original. Very few of these consoles were ever made, and they hardly ever come up for sale. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of audio history!

GENERAL INFO

Brand: EMI

Model: TG12410 Tape to Disc Mastering console

Serial Number: 112

Year of Manufacture: 1973

Pedigree/History: Originally at EMI Capetown, then at Gramma records Zimbabwe, then at Masterlabs in Ireland, finally at King Willy Sound Sydney (used on Gotye among other albums)

CONSOLE TECHNICAL DETAILS

Dimensions: 104cm x 75cm x 110cm

Cosmetic Condition Rating: 8

List of Cosmetic Flaws: Modules are extremely clean as are all electronics.
