Variable crossover frequency between low and mid band allow you to add more control over the low end content. The VariLink function lets you link low, mid, and side bands with full flexibility, offering a tailored compression response. The Tone Control features an easy-to-use one-knob shelving EQ to shape the overall tone. xmax utilizes advanced Mid-Side technology to encode your incoming stereo signal into Mid and Side signals. The Mid signal is further split into Low and Mid band, allowing for three independent compressors in one unit. After processing, the signal passes through a High-Shelf Filter for rich analog high-end, is decoded back to stereo, followed by a Soft Clipper and Output Control.
