EXPAND YOUR RIG
Outbox 8 is compatible with Elektron Overbridge-enabled units, USB class-compliant MIDI devices, and many USB class-compliant audio devices. USB MIDI support is broad, while audio compatibility can vary by manufacturer and firmware; check Elektronauts for the latest confirmed devices. Outbox 8 also works as an audio interface, adding eight more outputs to your computer.
AUDIO, CV, AND MIDI
Outbox 8 enables you to route individual tracks or submixes from your compatible Elektron machine for external processing, mixing, or performance. With Outbox 8, you can assign outputs to CV duties - pitch, gate, trig, value lin, or clock - to bring modular and other CV-controllable gear into the same setup.
Use Outbox 8 as a dedicated USB MIDI-to-CV interface. Play, sequence, modulate, and synchronize modular systems and other CV-capable instruments with your Elektron box. Or connect a MIDI controller to play and control them directly. Connect Outbox 8 to your computer, tablet or phone and use it as an eight-output USB audio interface. Route channels from your DAW to mixers, effects, monitors, or other external hardware, while also converting MIDI into CV where needed.
