The BDA4 is equipped with the newly developed BOPA14 op-amp, which features an all-discrete design with a minimal number of transistors. The BOPA14 utilizes Burl Audio’s NextGen Analog circuit path to deliver tighter bass and higher definition throughout the audio spectrum.

The BDA4 also employs the Burl BX5 output transformer—just like the legendary B32 VANCOUVER MIX BUS—to give your tracks even more analog character. By pairing these two powerful components together, the BDA4 can add detail to your tracks in ways you never thought possible. BDA4 also employs a switchable DAC filter, allowing you to change the tone from the classic Burl sound to a more aggressive tone with a more forward mid-range. Mixing is made easy with AVID delay matching, which perfectly matched the output delay of an AVID IO when using hardware inserts.
