Product Description
It is a pedal as legendary as the many mythological creatures it's named after. But whatever shape it takes, or whichever four-legged animal it goes by, its popularity and mythical status among guitarists is unquestionable - the Behringer Zentara overdrive pedal.
BEHIND THE MYTH
The heart of ZENTARA OVERDRIVE’s transparent circuit is a dual potentiometer gain control – an improved version of the original concentric gain control which makes it more reliable and precise. Simply put, you get to easily dial in your tone to get a completely clean signal or have more overdrive mixed in as you turn the knob all the way up. Another great characteristic of ZENTARA OVERDRIVE is its natural ability to respond well to picking dynamics. The pedal’s high headroom and high-quality diodes make this possible. With ZENTARA OVERDRIVE in the chain, you can dance lightly on the strings for a cleaner tone or really dig in to make your guitar, and amp, roar.
WAYS TO PLAY
ZENTARA OVERDRIVE is a really versatile overdrive pedal but here are some great ways to set it up:
- As a clean boost (perfect for kicking on during a solo)
- In front of an amp at the edge of breakup, gain at around 60% with the rest of the controls at noon
- Overdrive at full for balls-to-the-wall, saturation
Whatever guitar, amp and pedal combination you have, ZENTARA OVERDRIVE can easily make its home in your rig and give you all the legendary tones you’ve been searching for, or let you discover new ones never knew you wanted.
