Product Description
Step into the golden era of analog synthesis with the Behringer 921 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Module, an authentic reproduction of the classic circuitry from the “Modular 55, 35 & 15” series. This vintage-inspired VCO delivers iconic tones straight out of the '70s with modern flexibility that integrates seamlessly into your Eurorack setup.
MODULAR SYNTHESIS
The original System 55, 35, and 15 synth modules were revolutionary for their time—built with discrete transistor designs and used by legends like Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, and Tangerine Dream. The Behringer 921 VCO brings back the sound and soul of these analog classics in a more accessible, modular format for today’s creators.
CONTROLS
The 921 VCO module offers six selectable waveforms including sine, triangle, saw, inverted saw, square, and inverted square, allowing for deep sound shaping. Fine-tune your tone with Frequency and Range controls, along with Scale and Coarse RNG switches. Two CV inputs and a Rectangular Width control provide fat Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) sounds, while a switchable Sub Audio (LFO) mode expands your creative range even further.
INS AND OUTS
The 921 VCO is packed with patching potential: six separate audio outputs, five CV inputs, and two trigger inputs make it a powerhouse for sound design. Multiple Frequency Control Inputs and waveform outputs allow you to layer and modulate complex textures, perfect for evolving patches in the studio or on stage.
EURORACK READY
The 921 VOLTAGE CONTROLLED OSCILLATOR is designed to fit perfectly into a standard Eurorack case. Just plug in the power cables and mount it using the included screws. Whether you're starting a modular rig or expanding an existing setup, the 921 is ready to become a key voice in your system.
