Over the years, music production tools have become incredibly powerful, easy to use and more affordable. As the industry-standard, Avid’s Pro Tools has been at the forefront of this innovation, offering new ways to compose, record, edit, and mix music and audio with every new version of the award-winning software. By enabling everyone from young, ambitious creators to the major studio makers behind the biggest hits of today, pro tools offers the opportunity to create perfect audio that is ready for any medium.
Collaborate in the Cloud
While there has always been software that allowed you to create music on your own, this latest version of Pro Tools pushes creativity in a whole new direction by offering incredible opportunities for collaboration. Avid has released Pro Tools with Cloud Collaboration, which makes it extremely easy for users to connect and work together with friends, bandmates and premier singers, musicians, top-notch mixers, and even instructors from around the world.
Through Projects, a new cloud-based document type, your work will be synchronized to the cloud and cached locally, while offering direct access to these files anywhere the internet is available. Whether on the road, working out of a friend’s studio or in your own space, Projects allows you and those you share your files with the opportunity to create and collaborate in any environment you wish. Thanks to Avid’s new Artist Chat, you can also chat and review changes in chat rooms that are custom to each Projects file.
