5C SUPER SOUND CUBE - PAIR

After lengthy testing and remanufacturing the driver, Auratone were finally able to achieve the purest sound equaling the sound of the original 5C Super Sound Cube. All components of the Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube driver are made of the highest quality materials in the United States. The cabinet is built from black laminate with quality craftsmanship.

The 5C, which became famous in the 1970s and 80s and has been used in virtually every major recording studio worldwide, is still the undisputed industry standard for "real world" referencing in the recording studio.

Durability, flat full-range response, amazing power handling and portability have made AURATONES the Recording, Broadcasting, and Motion Picture industries favorite mixdown monitors for comparison and final mixes, auditioning, remotes, and reference standard speakers.

A2-30 AMPLIFIER

Purpose-built to complement the legendary TECnology Hall of Fame Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube reference monitors, the Auratone A2-30 Amplifier powers two 8 Ohm loudspeakers at 30 W each. Like the 5C Super Sound Cubes, the A2-30 amplifier is full of heart but intentionally short on bells and whistles – nothing but a power switch, a status LED, and pro-grade I/O.

In addition to sounding beautifully neutral and giving the 5C Super Cubes every opportunity to raise auditory ‘red flags’ when aspects of a mix aren’t sitting right — which is obviously its most important characteristic– the Auratone A2-30 amplifier has the same footprint as the Sound cubes so it looks great sitting on the meter bridge or desk.
