Positioning a DeskMAX behind you is a great way to improve your low-frequency accuracy at the mix position if you don’t have the ability to implement proper rear-wall bass trapping. The DeskMAX also allows you to hear “into” the mix better.
Until you hear proper front-to-back low-frequency control, you don’t know what you’re missing.
