Product Description
Audio Modeling SWAM String Sections Plug-in is a truly innovative suite of four plug-ins, corresponding to the orchestra sections Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Double Basses, and based on Audio Modeling’s exclusive modeling technology. They are capable of emulating orchestras of various sizes, from small chamber ensembles to large symphonic groups. SWAM technology provides instant access to natural orchestral articulations, and sections can be placed together in a virtual room to achieve authentic, blended acoustics. With real-time control over staccato, legato, expression, and more, it represents a revolution in orchestral arrangement and composition, allowing for seamless transitions between different styles and articulations without disrupting the creative flow.
SWAM STRINGS
Each virtual instrument from the SWAM Solo Strings family is digitally handcrafted and based on their traditional acoustic counterparts. They do not repeat pre-recorded sounds like a sample library does - SWAM instruments create the sounds in real-time, allowing for ultra-realistic expression and versatility in sound. In the V3 version of SWAM Strings, there has been a substantial improvement in the GUI, sound and behavior improvements, and other new features. Expressive, Realistic, Real-Time Controllable via a MIDI Controller, and So Much More!
SWAM ENGINE PRODUCTS
SWAM (Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling) is a new-generation, sophisticated proprietary technology that enables musicians, performers, and composers to overcome the classic limitations of traditional samplers. Conceived by Stefano Lucato and developed in collaboration with Emanuele Parravicini, the SWAM engine combines concepts of Physical Modeling and Behavioral Modeling with the Multi-Vector/Phase-Synchronous Sample-Morphing technique. Perfect for multi-vector expressive acoustic instruments such as woodwinds, brass and bowed strings, the SWAM engine is currently available in 3 different versions: SWAM-B, SWAM-W and SWAM-S for modeling Brass, Woodwinds, and Bowed Strings.
